La-Z-Boy, the makers of fine seating for your home also is a major manufacter of office furniture. They have long had a line of office casegoods under the La-Z-Boy name that is considered a high-end office furniture line. For the past few years foreign imports from Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico and China just to name a few, have been exporting to the US veneer casegoods that came in a mid-range office furniture price range. La-Z-Boy has decided to enter this market with a new contract furniture line named Empact.

The Empact office furniture line consists of four collections. Three in a cherry finish and one in a Honey Maple finish. The four collections range from contemporary office furniture style to a modern office furniture style with one transitional office furniture look.

The Inspire collection is the more transitional office furniture look, with its refined transitional edge profile and bottom trim the Inspire gives the tradition of authority feel to your workplace and yet its brushed nickel pulls add a touch of style and freshness. EMX with its clean curved worksurfaces and sleek component details gives your workplace a warm rich contemporary feel. Cascade collection picks up where EMX leaves off on the path to a more contemporary environment. Then there is Innova with its Honey Maple finish that feels at home in a workspace designed to give a transitional to contemporary feel. Add to all four collections the addition of aluminum framed, frosted glass doors on storage units and add a touch on modernism to your office. Some assembly is required, all pedestals are shipped assembled and need to be attached to components. Shells are shipped KD and need assembly.

Shipping and Delivery: Orders over $2,000 list are shipped free of charge by carrier of manufacturers choice to a commercial dock for receiving. Orders under $2,000 list price incur a $100 delivery charge for a commercial dock delivery. Additional charges apply for non dock commercial receiving, residential deliveries, and any additional services. All orders are shipped directly from the manufacturer and are special orders.
