FINISH:
Paoli’s multi-step catalyzed varnish utilizes the latest in technology.
The superior strength of Paoli’s tech-age finish provides enhanced
stain and mar resistance for lasting beauty and easy maintenance.
Prominence is available in high sheen diamond Light Cherry, Cordovan
Cherry, Traditional Cherry and Mahogany on Cherry or low luster pearl
Golden Cherry, Java Cherry, Shaker Cherry and Natural Cherry finishes.
TOPS:
Tops are select figured maple inlays with quartered cherry borders
separated by 3/16" ebony inlay.
Edges are solid hardwood with butt corners. Top thickness 11/4”
VENEER:
Genuine flat sliced cherry veneers, selectively book matched to provide
proper consistency.
CHASSIS
CONSTRUCTION:
All Prominence chassis feature tenon and groove construction with solid
hardwood parting rails. The chassis is reinforced with solid hardwood
cleats screwed to the top, pedestal ends and modesty panel. All base
units have adjustable leveling guides to compensate for uneven floor
surfaces.
DRAWER
CONSTRUCTION TYPE:
Four corner dovetailed box and file drawers are built as separate units
for strength and durability. All drawers are finished with a 3 step
catalyzed varnish finish to seal the grain and provide a smooth inner
surface. Drawers are built with 7/16" wood sides and 3/16" wood
bottoms, drawer fronts are book matched cherry veneers and attached
separately.
DRAWER SUSPENSION:
File drawers utilize a heavy duty full extension metal ball bearing
slide for smooth operation. Box drawers
operate on full extension slides.
FILE DRAWERS:
Legal width file drawers accommodate letter or legal filing. File
drawers feature heavy duty metal filing systems.
LOCKING:
Pedestal locks are standard on all desks, credenzas and returns.
FINISH COLOR
MATCHING:
Different wood species offer unique texture and grain. Minor variations
in finish color may occur due to the natural characteristics of wood.
Paoli carefully selects all material used in every product insuring a
commercially acceptable color and finish.
