Dmi Office Furniture:
LIFETIME WARRANTY
LAMINATE AND VENEER CASEGOODS LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
If you notice a defect, it is important for you to act promptly and
immediately notify the Authorized Retailer from whom you purchased your
furniture. Your notification must be given to an authorized DMI dealer
with proof of purchase. After notification, it may be necessary for the
Authorized Dealer or the manufacturer to arrange for an inspection of
your furniture to determine whether or not a covered defect exists. If
a covered defect does exist, it will be repaired. If it is determined
that repair is not practical; you will be supplied with new furniture
of the same or similar color, design, style and quality at the current
price less depreciated value of the product as based on ASB standards
for straight line depreciation of Office Furniture. You will not be
charged for any repair services, delivery costs.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Implied Warranties - No implied warranties, including warranties of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose exist. By implied
warranties, we mean ones that the law requires to have been given by
the seller even though they are not set out in writing. Please note:
some states do not allow exclusion or limitation on how long an implied
warranty lasts/ so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you.
While we believe our limited warranty is a good one, there are some
limits to it. Any of the following things reduce the manufacture's
responsibility under this warranty:
• This limited warranty protects you only when you purchase furniture
from an Authorized Dealer and if you are the original owner of the
product .
• This limited warranty applies only when you have purchased the
furniture for your own use and not for resale prior to use.
Your furniture requires some routine maintenance. Keep it clean, dusted
and polished as necessary. Proper care and use are essential to
preserving the rights under this limited warranty. We will not repair
or replace your furniture if damage is caused by improper maintenance
or by improper use.
This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse,
normal wear and tear, and accidents including burns, cuts, scratches,
scuffs, watermarks or indentations.
Consequential or incidental damages are not covered under this limited
warranty. By this we mean any loss, expense or damage other than to the
furniture itself that may result from a defect in the furniture. Please
note: some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages/ so the above limitation or
exclusion may not apply to you.
Indiana Office Furniture:
INDIANA FURNITURE PRODUCT WARRANTY
Indiana Furniture warrants the products manufactured by it to be free
from defects in material and workmanship as follows: (a) casegoods for
a period of ten (10) years of single shift service from the date of
purchase; and (b) seating for a period of five (5) years of single
shift service from the date of purchase.
During the applicable warranty period, Indiana Furniture, as its sole
obligation, will repair or replace (at its option) any product, part,
or component covered by this warranty and sold after January 1, 2006,
which fails under normal use as a result of a defect in material or
workmanship. Indiana Furniture will repair or replace the
aforementioned product, part, or component with a comparable product,
part or component.
This warranty extends only to the original purchasers who acquire new
Indiana Furniture products through authorized dealers, or from others
specifically authorized by Indiana Furniture to sell its products. Any
product, part, or component must have been installed and maintained
according to Indiana Furniture's published instructions in order to be
eligible for coverage under this warranty and must not have been
subject to misuse or abuse. Any improper assembly, modification,
alteration, attachment, misuse, abuse, or negligent use by the
purchaser or the dealer will void this warranty. Indiana Furniture does
not warrant the performance of the product when used in combination
with other than original Indiana Furniture products.
This warranty covers all defects encountered in the normal use of
Indiana Furniture products, but does not apply to the following:
• damage caused by carrier
• COMICOL (Customers Own Material/Leather) specified
• color, grain or texture of wood and other covering materials due to
natural variations
• changes in wood or fabric color due to aging or exposure to light
• defects or damages arising out of the coverage of furniture tops with
glass or other foreign materials
• normal wear and tear
As the manufacturer of your furniture, Indiana Furniture stands behind
its craftsmanship and pledges to do everything it can to resolve, as
quickly as possible, any problems you may have within the terms and
conditions of this warranty.
If you encounter a defect covered by the foregoing warranty, you should
contact the dealer from whom the product was purchased. In the event
the dealer is unable to resolve your warranty issues, you should
contact Indiana Furniture. Please ensure that you have all of the
pertinent facts when contacting the dealer or Indiana Furniture,
including the model number and factory order number from the inspection
label attached to the product.
Lacasse Office Furniture:
Limited lifetime warranty
Groupe Lacasse warrants its products to be free
from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original
purchaser owns it; proof of delivery being the only official document
accepted by Groupe Lacasse for any claim. This warranty is subject to
the limitations, exclusions and other provisions below;
• Twenty-five years; Thermofused laminate.
• Twenty years; Drawer slides.
• Ten years; Locks.
• Five years; Swing lift mechanisms and adjustable surface mechanisms.
• Five years; High-pressure laminate, casters, fabrics, metal frame
doors, electrical components, PVC extrusions and accessories.
• Exclusions; Light bulbs and ballasts are not covered by this
warranty.
This warranty is made by Groupe Lacasse only to purchasers acquiring
the product directly from Groupe Lacasse, its authorized dealers, or
others who are specifically authorized by Groupe Lacasse to sell such
products. The purchaser's remedy is limited to repair or replacement,
at Groupe Lacasse's option, of products which when used normally, prove
to be defective within the period stated. This warranty does not apply
to any product which must be replaced because of normal wear and tear,
negligence, abuse or accident or which has been modified by someone
other than Groupe Lacasse or Its authorized dealers. The remedy stated
herein are expressly agreed to be exclusive as a condition of sale.
Groupe Lacasse's liability with respect to its products or installation
services should not exceed that expressly set forth above. Under no
circumstances shall Groupe Lacasse be liable for accidental or
consequential damages.
Mayline Office Furniture: Including
Tiffany Office Seating
The Mayline Group promises to repair or replace any
Mayline Group (includes Mayline Company, Tiffany Industries, and
Kwik-File) brand product or component manufactured after 1/1/2000, that
is defective in material or workmanship for as long as the original
purchaser owns it. This is the sole and exclusive remedy This warranty
is subject to limitations, exclusions and o:her provisions detailed
below.
limitations involving materials and components: The materials and
components listed below are covered according to the following schedule
from the date of sale:
Ten Years: Electrical components, seating controls, seating pneumatic
cylinders, wood seating components.
Five Years: Fabric and leather seating upholstery, seating foam,
seating armrests, and veneer finishes.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not apply to
• Normal wear and tear, which is to be expected over the course of
ownership.
• Damage caused by the carrier in-transit, which will be handled under
Mayline Group's Freight Damage policy .
• Modifications or attachments to the product that are not approved by
Mayline Group.
• Products that were not installed, used or maintained in accordance
with product instructions and warnings.
• Products used for rental purposes.
Seating Usage:
Normal commercial usage for seating is to be defined as the equivalent
of a single shift within a 4O-hour workweek. To the extent that a
seating product is used in a manner exceeding this, the applicable
warranty period will be reduced in a pro-rata manner. (excluding Model
2424AG which is warranted fjor multiple shifts)
Note: Some natural variations occurring in wood or
leather materials are inherent to their character, and cannot be
avoided. Mayline Group does not warrant the color fastness or matching
ot colors, grains, or textures of such materials
T0 THE EXTE:NT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE MAYLINE GROUP MAKES NO OTHER
WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE MAYLINE GROUP WILL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES .
